Our Christmas was wonderful!! we both got very spoiled!! and in the very best of ways!! Coen and I got to spend our VERY FIRST christmas morning together just the 2 of us!! it was absolutely amazing :)

Life in a Blender...
I'm not kidding that's how I feel!!! As soon as something in life slows down so I can take a deep relaxing breath, something else jumps out at me... INSANITY!
First off surgery update... I'm ok... ok I'm not... I HATE THAT I HAD THE SURGERY! but not much that I can do about it now... I'm looking for a new surgeon because this one has ZERO people skills... He had the nerve to tell me that it was the perfect surgery... THEN WHY ARE ALL THE SAME SYMPTOMS STILL HERE PLUS MORE??? I hate him... hate is a strong word and I have no problems using it in this situation... I'm still on a TON of medication (just got put back on all of it) and it makes me feel TERRIBLE! (FYI the surgery was on my intestines... I go back in January to find out if my tough ol' immune system knocked out the precancerous cells on my cervix)...
Second off... WE MOVED AGAIN!! This time in with my dear dear best friend Mel and my 2 little boyfriends...
Here's a pic of our boys together... Liam will be 1 in a few days, Ethan will be 3 in December, and my little man Coen is 4... all 3 are the best of friends (and fight like brothers!) and I am so glad they get to see more of each other! and Look at that chunky butt on the left... BIGGEST FLIRT YOU'LL EVER MEET! He's a man after my own heart... I love it!
And since I've been such a terrible blogger... Here are some pics of me and my fav little preschooler taken over the past few months...
First off at my brother's Bday... my BABY brother is freaking 17?? and Graduates in May!!!
At the children's museum... this may be a duplicate but i just love it
at the Bee's Baseball game with Mel and Ethan...
and the 24th of July fireworks!! the look on his face is just adorable!
and HALLOWEEN!!!!! for your info... don't move on Halloween!!! it sucks royally! and makes the thought of trick or treating just sound terrible.. no matter how excited your little man is and no matter how excited you are for him... the energy is just not gonna be there... thank heavens for TRUNK OR TREAT! Coen was Bumblebee the Transformer... and I was a Tavern Girl... (small soapbox... why are all costumes in the store WHORE'Y?? I want to be with my SON and other KIDS trick or treating and I don't find it appropriate to look like a complete tramp! I'm not even a prude and I still feel like this... ugh...)
And is this not the cutest freaking horse ever!!! Mel's family did cowboys and indians... Mark (hubby) and Ethan were cowboys, Mel was an Indian, and Liam was a horse! So freaking cute!

First Coen's 4th Bday!! finally pics from it! we had a lot of fun playing in the backyard with friends and family...

Went to Heather and Kris's Wedding!! It was absolutely gorgeous and had a lot of fun catching up with old friends from Piute...
Went to the fireworks at Liberty Park on the 24th with Chris and did some fireworks at Chris's house before going to the park...
Had a blast at the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum...
Loved building things with the magnetic blocks on the counter... until we saw this sign... do they not realize that kids are SHORT!! and the counters are HIGH and the bean shaped benches they have for them have WHEELS on them... not a good combo for leaning up against a counter... he just about bit the dust a few times...
After a few near death (maybe a bit of an exageration...) we went outside to see the helicopter...
and what's up next for us?? Well I'm having surgery on Sept 2 to hopefully correct some of the problems I've been having and to hopefully get me out of pain!! Then Sept 12th is Robyn's wedding at Fishlake and then Sept 18th is Moriah's wedding at Gardner Village... September will be a busy month for us depending on how surgery goes...

NO CHEMO!!!!! WHOOT WHOOT...
I got the results back today!! and saying no cancer is not quite true... but pretty much! i have "very mild" cancer... and apparently because i don't have a compromised immune system, my body should give the cancer the boot and it should be completely gone by January... I go back then to get it all checked again to make sure!! oh it's such a relief!!!!!
on a good note... Coen now has 3 girl friends... ages 8, 4, and 4... he's a little pimp... it's adorable how they play...
Coen-isms that i love... "butiful" aka beautiful... "gank you" aka Thank you... "shirk" and "shorks" aka shirt and shorts... and "brefisck" aka breakfast! i love it! hahaha
also Heather Jenkins is getting HITCHED this weekend!!! so excited for her wedding!!! :)

Want a photo shoot?? Want it for super inexpensive? Want it to rock?
(first off how refreshing to have something so fun to blog about!!! no bad/sad/depressing news in this blog!!!)
OK!!! My friend Laura (and yes we go way back... all the way back to kiddo piles on the floor with Mickey Mouse movies and Sugar Daddy's) is a pretty spectacular photographer... not to mention mom/wife/person/etc etc... and in the graciousness of her heart she's offering a killer deal on photo sessions!!!

Here is how it’s going to work:
ONE. I charge a flat rate of $50- which includes everything...sitting fee... free editing of your top five favorite images, and all (yes, I just said all *** as in a.l.l.) of your pictures on a CD. This means that they are all yours, you can blog them, facebook them, make cute little family headers with them ... the sky's the limit. You can also take your picture CD to Walmart and have an 8x10 printed for $4.88. Can't be beat!
TWO. As mentioned above, I will edit up to five of your favorite images for free. (including changing images to black and white with pops of color, airbrushing blemishes (who doesn't love that?) ...you name it.and ...
THREE. Here's the thing. Offering to do my photography for pay makes me a little stressed. If I feel pressure, it makes me nervous, and if I feel nervous, photography stops being fun, and in order for me to want to continue doing it, I need it to be fun (like, really, really fun...) so I can't have any pressure, and in order to alleviate that pressure, I have to make the following guarantee:
If you don't love. love. love your pictures,you get your money. money. money. back. All of it. That way, I can have fun, and I won't have to stress, because if you love them, great! If you hate them, no loss! (okay, except for 1-2 hours of your admittedly precious time...which does kinda stink...but...I can't exactly give those back, and I hope that I will have at least made them very fun while you were wasting them on me!)
