My baby is SIX!!! How did this happen??

(ok as of today, the day I'm blogging, he isn't six... but on the 23rd he will be! pure insanity!)

On the 14th, we decided to have Coen's bday party! His little best friends Ethan and Liam are moving (see previous blog!) and we wanted to make sure that they could be there! Thank heavens cuz this weekend it is SOGGY WET with rain! On the 14th, it started raining and we weren't able to do the pinata but that's ok. We'll save it to do with the neighborhood kids closer to his actual bday :)

I was so glad that some family and some friends were able to make it! It was so nice to have so many kiddo's running around! And so well behaved I must say! Having so many kids under the age 6 running in and out side my house was a tad nerve wracking til I saw how awesome they all were!

We had a fun barbq afterwards. thank you to my mom for helping make the food!! Man no one makes potato salad like her :)

Mother's Day 2011

This Mother's Day, there was nothing I wanted more than just spending some time with my boys at our house! So Saturday, we had brunch with my mom and brothers. I cooked, Jason cleaned! It was really nice to get to spend some time honoring my mom :) cinnamon rolls and quiche! mmmmm tasty stuff!

Saturday night, we helped Emily and Bryan move to their new house! They're officially homeowners! I'm so incredibly jealous! Their new house is so adorable and so roomy! After getting the moving van unloaded, we popped open the wine and had cafe rio and wine... may or may not have had a glass or 2 too many! Emily and I ended up a bit further than tipsy! Oh well! I'm super glad we got some much needed time with her and her family :) sadly no pics... (what on earth is Bryan going to do for mother's day next year? a house is QUITE the gift!!)

Sunday we went to Bryce's mom's house for brunch as well! It was nice to get to spend time with her and Bryce's siblings :) Coen loves getting to spend time there with his cousins! Bri and Anthony's kiddos are adorable! Got to see Seth and Chelsey for the first time since their wedding! They had a blast in San Fran for their honeymoon

Then we went HOME!! I knew the boys had presents, but I had no idea how spoiled I'd get!! Man I love these guys! They really went out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated!

Coen and his best friends!

Coen's best friends are moving away to OHIO!! And with them, they're taking MY best friend! I seriously don't know what I'm gonna do without Mel just a short drive away! We don't spend tons of time together since we have our own families, but she's still my best friend and I'm going to miss her tons! And I don't know how I feel about my 3 little boyfriends growing up in another state! Her hubby is starting a residency program out there and they'll be gone for 4-5 years. LUCKILY, both of their families live out here so I know they'll be back!
