For Easter each year, Bryce's Grandma Diane puts on an Easter dinner and Easter egg hunt. It's not just any old Easter egg hunt either! First the kids go out. Each parent brings things (candy, toys, clothes, whatever) for the kids (great grandkids!) to hunt down. We supply the eggs too. The kids each have a section so that we know that each kid gets a fair share and there is a designated # of eggs that each parent brings for each kid! It works out great!
Then comes the "kids" hunt!!! All of the grandkids (and their significant others!!!) get to go on a hunt and this hunt is for cold hard cash!! Ok really it's coins, but still! Jim (Grandma Diane's husband) and the other "mature" adults hide the eggs around the back yard and we get to go find them! Once again there is a limit on how many you can get. It's a lot of fun! Apparently Bryce has a nack for winning each year!
From left to right: Hailey, Coen, Michael, and Kayla!
Bryce had a great time teaching Coen and his adorable cousins how to fly a kite!! I'm so happy that Coen has young cousins on this side of the family because the year before, Coen was the only kid!
